I am a traditional artist that loves writing stories and creating illustrated litterature.
I can suggest you started by joining 2 groups I manage, it will help you get in contact with new people and share your work with an audience ready to check it out:
OurDreamsWillCome : we accept all forms of art and from all skill levels. We do weekly features and organize regular events.
CollaborativeMinds : we focus on illustrated litterature and collaboration between writers and artists. You can post your stories here and hopefully find an artist to illustrate them for you ^^
We are currently holding a collaborative contest: Awareness of the Arts: Into The Stars. We pair up writers with illustrators, the deadline is in 2 months and there are a bunch of cool prizes to catch ^^
I do myself write regular features focussing on my recent watchers and undiscovered talents, you can check this out ^^
Anyway, I hope we can see more of your works really soon ^^ and we're happy that you joined the community
